Kaulantak Peeth

“Kaulantak Peeth” is the land of the Siddhas. It has been referred with other names like “Siddhashram” i.e abode of the Siddhas, “Gyanagunj” etc. It is an extended area of the Himalayas where the circle of supremely enlightened masters known collectively as Guru Mandala resides. It is the Guru Mandala who is responsible for all the spiritual upliftment of the world. Whenever the Guru Madala feels that the society needs a new spiritual direction, it sends its representative to the world so that the spirituality can be revived. Guru Mandala is the life force of Kaulantak Peeth.

Kaulantak Peeth is in Himalaya. But strictly speaking, this assembly of truth seers is not a place in an ordinary sense of the world. One can cover all of Himalaya by foot or with any modern method and might not find this region at all. This eternal garden of everlasting bliss is a mystical abode. And it requires certain mystical qualifications for one to enter it. Alternatively, one has to await an invitation to enter this realm.

Kaulantak Peeth is known as the supreme seat of knowledge on Tantra. It is also the abode of various other wisdom traditions like Yoga, Karmakanda rituals, Mantra, Ayurveda, Yuddha and Sastra Vidhya – Siddhas art of warfare, Jyotish etc.

Tantra holds the most prominent place among the wisdom traditions. Tantra is practiced through “Kula” or lineage. There are more than 250 Kulas in the Himalayas which practices Tantra. The word ‘Kaulantak’ is made of ‘kula’ + ‘antya’ i.e the place where all Kulas end. It is like the Crown chakra on the forehead. The crown chakra has thousand spokes and similarly the Peeth also has thousand mountain peaks. If Earth and Human body are to be compared, the crown chakra is the pinnacle of human existence while as the “Kaulantak Peeth” is the pinnacle and ultimate place of the whole civilization. To reach the crown chakra, the Kula Kundalini has to pass through many chakras and when the Kula Kundalini shakti merges with the Shiva in Crown Chakra, the Kula Kundalini ends and only Shiva remains. Similarly, this whole earth is like a human body and there is this “Tantra Kula”. The “Tantra Kula” is practiced everywhere in the globe but when it reaches the Kaulantak Peeth i.e the crown chakra of the globe, it ends there and it isn’t just confined to the “Tantric Kula” but a search beyond that. It is here in Kaulantak Peeth that the real penance and practices of the sublime begins.

The Peeth is present in both the physical gross world as well as the mystical invisible realm. The physical form is the expanse of Himalaya and the invisible form is the hidden invisible kingdom inside the physical Himalaya.

The natural world of Himalaya with its mountains and hills are the symbols of the Peeth which is as old as the Himalaya and the nature itself.

With the rise of Himalaya itself the Kaulantak Peeth came into existence. Himalaya and Kaulantak Peeth are inseparable. The Peeth is not an artificially or arbitrarily created idea by someone’s imagination, rather it has been explicitly mentioned in the ancient scriptures also. In the Ramayana it is mentioned as “Siddhashram”, in “Kalki Purana” and “Bhavishya Purana” as “Sambhalgram” i.e the land of Shambhu. It is also known by the name “Kullutaa or Kulut” which is the traditional name of the place “Kullu”. In fact, Kullu got its name from “Kaulantak Peeth”, with the time lapse the word “Kaulantak or Kaulantak” degenerated into “Kulluta or Kulut” and then to modern day “Kullu”. Kullu is the major gateway of “Kaulantak Peeth”.

“Kaulantak Peeth” is a vast area of the Himalaya which encompasses both the mountain ranges and outskirts of the Mountain ranges that starts from the mountains of Russia, passes the Tora Bora mountains of Afghanistan then to Hinglaj Goddess in Pakistan, Kashmir, the Kullu, Manali of Himachal Pradesh, the whole of Nepal and Bhutan, the major area of Mt. Kailasha and Mansarovara lake and beyond, it then stretches to the mountains of Burma and ends there. The whole area as described above is “Kaulantak Peeth”.

In Himachal Pradesh, the river Tirthan separates Kaulantak Peeth with Jalandhar Peeth. The areas of most of the Uttarakhand, Punjab falls in Jalandhar Peeth. The area that is enclosed by the Bipasha river or Vyasa river is known as Kullu or the starting point of Kaulantak Peeth. The whole of Nepal is Kaulantak Peeth. The Pashupati Nath area of Nepal is located at the eastern side of the Peeth. The Hindu Kush mountain range is also believed to be one of the areas of Kaulantak Peeth.

Kaulantak Peeth is by default a Tantric Peeth but it also specializes in various other disciplines. Tantra is practiced in “Kulas” i.e “the family”. Therefore, the Peeth harbors different Kulas and the Peeth provides freedom to the ‘Kulas’ to practice and perfect their sadhanas. Out of all the Kulas, some few people are selected and they compete with each other to become the “Peethadhiswara ” or the “face” of the Peeth. The current Peethadheeshwar is, His Holiness “Kaulantak Peethadhishwara Mahayogi Satyendra Nath Ji Maharaj” (Maha Siddhda Ishaputra).

His Holiness is from the “Kaula Siddha” lineage. Every lineage and “Kulas” directly traces their source to Lord Shiva. Therefore, “Kaula Siddha” lineage traces its root to Lord Shiva. The legend says that the first Peethadhishwara of the “Kaulantak Peeth” was Lord Shiva himself. He then initiated Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu to the “Kaula Siddha” lineage. Lord Brahma sent his manas putra, “Sanakadi Rishi” to Lord Shiva for their education. It is believed that the “Sanakadi Rishi” were the first primitive Kaula/Siddhas and they also form the Eighty four Siddhas. Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu  then initiated the “Sapta Rishis” and then they initiated other Rishi Munis to the “Kaula Siddha” lineage, passing down from Nava Nath to Eight four Siddhas and in the process to “Mahasiddha Shree Siddha Siddhanta Nath Ji” and then to His Holiness and then to we all Bhairava and Bhairavis.

The “Kaula/Siddha” lineage is not a recent lineage established by any wandering saint. It even predates Lord Krishna. The Kaula/Siddha lineage is mentioned in Bhagawat Geeta as well.

Passage of time apparently is not uniform on Earth. Time, not being uniformly symmetrical throughout nature, flows with extraordinary quality in the realms of Kaulantak Peeth. It is a place wrapped in itself. Even though it exists on planet earth in the physical plane, it is not bound by rules of physics as is known in science. It is a superimposed landscape. A place where hidden dimensions and outer dimensions merge. It exists with its own rules of physical reality. This extraordinary place is no less than a fantasy land to ordinary mortals. It is indeed a magical landscape. An extraordinary place inhabited by extraordinary beings. A place with entities of higher dimensions coexisting with humans who have overcome limitations of the physical world and have transcended to higher realms.

Here one finds men and women who value knowledge, freedom and power. Here one encounters lofty beings who can verily be called ubermensch, overmen, supramental or evolved beings and angels. There are Yogis adept in their practices, transcending the rules of the system of the world, and are ever engrossed in deep meditation here. Ancient seers of the fire mist hidden in veils of their illusionary tricks. Free from normal concerns of body maintenance and wrapped in bodies of light they, with eyes looking inward, yet are observing the whole cosmos. Adept Siddhas furthering their journey in the infinite. Living in an eternal moment, yet spreading from bygone era to the farthest future.

A society of compassionate hidden elite, a luminous beacon in a corrupt and squalid world. Free from hurt, sorrow, fear and shame, in Kaulantak Peeth one finds diverse races of the cosmos. Yoginis, Yogis, Bhairav, Bhairavis, Yaksha, Yakshini, Kinner, Kirat, Gandharvas, Apsaras, Siddha, Rishi, Muni, divine Gods, Goddesses, Angels, Prophets, Masters, and Asuras like Daityas, Danavas, Rakshasa, bhoot, pret, pisach, and mortal men. All engrossed in perfecting their spiritual practices.

Even though some of aforementioned races of beings are not friendly to one another outside Kaulantak Peeth, here they all are in blissful harmony in their individual quest of discovery, transcendence and metamorphosis. One finds virtues and honor as driving ethics here rather than externally imposed laws. Law of Karma is the functioning motor of the realm.

Reflecting the lightless light in the universe; enveloped and penetrated by the thoughts of Knowledge, this is the source of inspiration for all philosophers, scientists and artists of the world. When a scientist reaches the eureka moment, it is the sentient beings of this place who plant the seed of knowledge in their mind. At the deepest moment of contemplation, a thinker gets inspiration from benevolent beings of this place. When a musician hears the music deep inside and feels compelled and inspired to manifest it- celestial musicians of this place are actually playing the tune in their head. It is the muse of muses. And is the hidden source of inspiration for painters, singers, and all creative artists. Such is the nature of beings in this place. It is this unbiased source with such forceful light, that it has been a source of inspiration for even the darkest and evil forces. Knowing at deeper levels that good and evil are not absolute but, there is honor and dishonor. Focussing on knowledge, kindliness and courage and not regretful hankering over past deeds. It is free from the limited thinking and lifestyle of the ordinary world.

Yet, always keeping a benevolent, nurturing and watchful eye over the world. Always assisting the evolution of the civilization of men, animals and the natural world. Mysteries of Kaulantak Peeth cannot fully be explained- they must be experienced. People who have entered Kaulantak Peeth have even called it the heartbeat of the whole universe, the base of spiritual consciousness, heart of divinity and the land of great Rishis.

The context of this supernatural land has been mentioned in many ancient texts. It is often called the supreme place of the universe. It is a place frequented by astral beings and conscious entities of many planets. A place where beings enter to discover their true potential. This place has been often described as Shambala, Siddhashram, Neelkhand, Rahasya Peeth, Gyangunj or mythical Shangri-La et al.

History of Kaulantak Peeth will be incomplete without writing about the history of Himalaya. Himalaya is still an unexplored landscape with grand beauty and diversity of flora and fauna. It remains unmatched in the world. Growing and rising still, the peaks of Himalaya have witnessed many times civilizations being born, flourish and decay in the unknown. History has been witnessed by Himalaya while Himalaya’s history still remains shrouded in mysteries. For some it is the perfect getaway for holiday, or a source of diverse and rich supply of medicinal herbs. Well informed minds of science respectfully study the significance of Himalayas in maintaining the natural ecosystem of the planet. Standing tall, Himalayan ranges are critical in climate regulation, water supply, temperature control, and many more profound systemic impact on planet earth. Mystics of almost all traditions know the significance of holy mountains. In anecdotes of traditions, we hear about how all divine beings, avatars, prophets founding various religions and sects have visited and lived their profound times in far reaches of Himalayas.

No other land or civilization has preserved and remembered the historic connections with Himalayas than the land which now by default is associated with the epitaph of Land of Rishis- Bharat. India, being the modern child of this ancient land. It is here in Bharat that the history and significance of Himalaya is unveiled to a great extent. The unique tradition of preserving knowledge, including historic facts through traditional means of storytelling and folklore oral traditions, sheds ample light on the origin and significance of Himalaya not just as a regulator of the physical world but also on evolution of human civilization and migrations of tribes across the world.

Mystic traditions emanating from Himalayas and spreading in diverse manner across the planet, revere Himalayas as motor nerve which is playing a profound role in spiritual conscious evolution of man and beasts alike. It is in this oral tradition that one hears about different human root races that have flourished in the past. There are stories of the times when the Indian subcontinent was surrounded by water on almost four sides barring a relatively narrow strip connecting it to the Asian mainland. At that time, there were only three continents floating in the ocean which were called ‘Jambu’, ‘Shalmali’ and ‘Plaksh’. These are the tales of human civilization having interstellar and interplanetary origins. It is about how out of five different root fathers of ancient human civilizations or ‘Manu’ only four survived with their expanding families. Their descendants walk the earth in evolved physical forms even today.

The quest for survival and finding the origin of life since ancient days have propelled the evolution of the mind. Searching the divine origins of human civilization, men discovered ways to become divine themselves. Many seers acquired superhuman capabilities. Some even left earth to settle in distant stars.

With the growth of any diverse system, it is inevitable that evil and negativity will rise with it. For it is the other side of what we commonly know as good and positive. Atrocities of humans caused imbalance on earth. The sick planet earth pleaded to the conscious super beings of the planet – Rishis, then a particular Rishi Sapta Matrika requested other Rishis of the cosmos for bringing reservoir of superior cosmic energies of MahaHimalaya on planet earth to act as as powerhouse for uplifting the consciousness of the planet to greater heights of expansive knowledge.

By this time, the planet earth had undergone major geographical changes and had seven continents. Physical body of the Himalayas arose from the bottom of the sea in the Indian subcontinent, raising the land and parting the ancient sea. Himalayas arose to host the cosmic energies of MahaHimalaya descending from the higher galaxies and star systems. This was the beginning of a paradigm shift in the history of planet earth. The physical geography of planet earth and environment adapted to this gradual but significant and steady shift. Diverse plants and animal kingdom along with major water systems of the world arose in the Himalayas. With the amplifying beauty of Himalayas, higher conscious divine beings also descended to live on Himalayas. These divine angelic beings, Rishis and gods were not unknown to the world. In earlier times offerings of gratitude were sent through fire ceremonies.

With this descent started another tradition of worship of ‘murti’ or idols with invoked conscious energies of a particular god or goddess in it. From Himalayas these angelic Rishis, gods and goddesses spread across the planet in different corners of the world. Many holy mountains arose in different parts of the world to host these gods, forming a circuit of higher energies or mandalas over the world.

Since then many human root races or ‘Manvantar’ have passed. Diverse societies, traditions, political, economic and spiritual systems have shaped up the world. Under the tutelage, consultations, and grace of these super beings, the world saw a rise in evolving systemic order in the world. Affairs of ‘Jambu Dweep’ or Bharat was conducted from Himalaya. Rishis, Munis, Gods and Goddesses travelled throughout the land. People everywhere respected and facilitated their work. Their place of stay started taking shapes of temples.

When it became difficult to manage all affairs through the Himalaya, the Rishis created five seats of knowledge or ‘Panch Peeth’. Along with Kaulantak Peeth in Himalaya, Jalandhar Peeth, Kurma Peeth, Varaha Peeth and Shree Peeth were established in different parts of the Indian subcontinent. Kaulantak Peeth is a Siddha Peeth, inspired by essentials of Dharma. Dharma- not as static frozen words but directly known from adept masters who have realized the truth. It gives prime importance to Darshan (Spiritual philosophies), Tapa (penance) and Sadhana (Spiritual practices). Peeth is especially known for Yoga, Yantra, Mantra, Tantra, Karma Kand Rituals, Alchemical sciences, Ayurveda, Jyotish, Music, Dance, Paintings, warfare, and many other such art forms. Because of Siddha Yogis, this Peeth is applauded across the world. Since ancient days, Kaulantak Peeth has been known for its unconventional approach to spiritual practices.

Kaulantak Peeth has also been known as Kulant Peeth. Traditional sources inform how the name is derivative of the presiding divine feminine and Goddess principle Kurukulla Devi Ji. Kurukulla Devi is also known as Red Tara, Rakta Tara, and Goddess of Magic and Medicine. Kulant Peeth also means the end of Kula. Kula means dharmic tradition.

Therefore one can also infer Kulant Peeth to mean place or Peeth where all dharmic tradition and their knowledge originates and ends.

Kaulantak Peeth never considered caste, creed, sex, or color of a practitioner, for qualification or disqualification. During dark periods of human history, Kaulantak Peeth was even criticized by most traditions for allowing women to become adept practitioners. Since ancient days, existing among men as hidden elite, diverse practitioners of Kaulantak Peeth have lived the highest ideals of virtues, life, beauty, courage and daring. Select few in number but with presence everywhere. Perfecting lives in present times. Kaulantak Peeth is also called Rahasya Peeth because of its secretive traditions, which never divulge all the secret mystical practices to everyone. Therefore, this Peeth was veiled in secrecy for ages, and still conducts its work in a similar manner.

The Natha tradition emanating essentially from Siddha Kaulantak tradition, also allowed muslims in various Natha sects. Sufism, peers and such realized masters in Islamic tradition finds their root in Natha tradition.

Whenever the world faces any existence threatening crisis, it is Kaulantak Peeth that has sent someone to show the path forward. Whenever human beings stop developing and evolving further, someone inevitably comes from this place. Because of their contribution in affecting the mind and lives of entire human civilization with such profound positive implications that they have even been worshipped as Gods, Angels and Prophets.

Yet, Kaulantak Peeth remained beyond theism and atheism.

There are two distinct school of thought and practices in Kaulantak Peeth. While on one side there are theists students who believe in divinity or God. Their aim is to develop and evolve oneself with various practices to merge in that divine. The other school of practices do not presuppose or believe in any divinity. This is the atheist school. The idea is to push through one’s limits and develop extraordinary physical, mental abilities.

Knowing that the significance and purpose of earth is a small portion in the grand scale of the universe, this atheist school in Kaulantak Peeth trains through various practices in absorbing and channeling energies of cosmos.

Exploring the universe within and without, this atheist school gives prime importance to learning various ‘Kalas’ including arts such as singing, dancing, painting etc. This school knows that human beings on this planet are but a brief interlude in life of the planet. Non-human lifeforms have lived before humans and will survive even after the extinction of human beings. This school emphasizes living life in its full manifestation of creative potential. Here one learns to overcome the forces of environment through personal development.

Life of man, viewed outwardly is nothing compared with the forces of nature. But instead of slavish worship of Time, Fate, Death, Nature, because one perceives them greater forces than oneself, this school of Kaulantak Peeth instead takes it as a challenge to be celebrated. This passionless splendour of the universe is rather observed and absorbed within. This school strives to rise above the struggle against the environment and to make it part of oneself. Thereby becoming a truly cosmic personality.

However, in the history of Kaulantak Peeth it is noticed that the head or Peethadheeshwar of the Peeth invariably is someone who has been through both theist school and atheist school. Impartial to evolving perspective of the human mind, Kaulantak Peeth remains beyond reason and logic, yet assisting all progress of reason and logical capacities of mind. Kaulantak Peeth believes that only by intense mental development, one can be justified in what one knows, and to base gained knowledge on a firm foundation.

The Kaulantak Peeth tradition or Kaula Siddha Dharma believes that Kaulantak Nath or the head of Kaulantak Peeth is directly related to Lord Shiva personally. It is believed that Lord Shiva himself initiated the Kaulantak Peeth tradition and he himself became the first Peethadhishwara and in doing so, he created the opportunity for future Siddhas to become Kaulantak Peethadhishwara to continue the tradition of Guru/Sishya parampara such that the knowledge and wisdoms of Lord Shiva reach the society with the help of future Siddhas.

To be the witness to the path of grand play of lightless light of all lights, Kaulantak Peeth has manifested a system here through this website, inside this world system. To take all willing and ready to their supreme physical, mental, spiritual development to access the hidden doorways- by freeing the mind and unleashing the force.

The Peeth’s main aim is to revive all the Siddha wisdoms. It also works relentlessly to promote and spread the Siddha lifestyle, sadhanas and various disciplines like Yoga, Tantra, Mantra, Karmakanda, Jyotish etc for the betterment of all the living beings of the world.

It conducts a monthly sadhana camp for those who are selected to pursue the path of sadhana. The selected procedure is very secretive and not revealed to anyone. It is believed that only those people get selected who are selected by Guru Mandala. So, the process is unknown and is so abstract that nobody can decode it. The first sadhana camp was conducted on January 2nd, 2012 and it has conducted sadhana camps ever since. People from all over India and the world participate in it.

It has also worked in promoting the art and culture of Siddhas. One such endeavour is work on the ancient script of writing, the “Tankari lipi”. It is deemed as the official lipi or script of Kaulantak Peeth. The dialect is also recognized by the Himachal state to be one of its languages. His Holiness has also written a small introductory book about “Tankari Lipi” in which he explains its diverse forms used at different places.

Kaulantak Peeth is the reservoir of knowledge of this world and beyond. It is a place for seeking knowledge where nature and its extraordinary qualities are revealed. In present times, a larger part of the world is reeling under incessant assault on human life and disasters in the natural world.

Across the world, the traditional systems of local, cultural diversity and ethnicity are facing an unprecedented crisis. Age-old practices of sustainability, harmonious existence in nature and along with nature, are being threatened by monstrous greed and poison spewing systems. Today human beings are being disconnected from their true self by constant propaganda ever spreading in the information age. Religions, philosophers, intelligentsia at large have been largely engulfed by selective interests of few trying to control the minds and lives of everyone. Even with sophisticated technical know-how and expanding scientific development, the evolution of man from stone age time to present have slowed down to dismal negligible level.

Breaking through the web of lies, a secret long hidden is being revealed here. Confronting ugliness, impotence, and death, Kaulantak Peeth glorifies beauty, power, and life. Embodied with a fearless outlook of life and free intelligence with hopes of a better future.

Kaulantak Peeth calls all sentient beings everywhere, who are waking up from the stupor of the modern day globalized, industrialized nightmare that our planet has been turned into to awaken and take control of our destinies as separate, yet equally respected traditions and cultures.

The ways where people respect the Earth as sacred and not simply as a resource to be plundered. Kaulantak Peeth, keeping true to its essential nature of assisting the whole of humanity to reach its highest potential, has opened its doors. Truly speaking, twenty one such portals or stargate on Himalaya to the hyperspace reality. Continuing a quest for understanding, and following a trail of cryptic clues and mysterious lore, this hyperspace can only be accessed by acquiring the necessary qualifications.

Let this also be forewarning to the weak hearted and meek fellows. This journey is not going to be a walk in the park. One will face many challenges in life. One will have to endure hard. One will have to face one’s darkest fears. One will have to face one’s greatest enemy inside oneself. For only by struggling through the cocoon, a larva manifests a butterfly. Nature reveals its secrets and secrets of the gods to the one who walks the path of struggle and perseverance. There will be profound tests veiled in seemingly mundane situations.

This path is the story of one’s becoming. Proclaiming that only by becoming stronger, man can realize his divinity. Sensing one’s true angelic birth aeons ago, and continuing the quest of complete manifestation and self realization, following trails of cryptic clues and mysterious lore. Conquering the distance and shaping the space; higher men and women of the world are called upon to join this legion of honour for honour’s sake.

The connection with Kaulantak Peeth is built by synching the subtle vibrations. This is the preliminary qualification step. And it is facilitated by awakened and portent sound syllables in form of guru mantra of Maha Himalaya.
